EmDash in Swedish
The Swedish translation of EmDash, included from version 1.1.
EmDash is an open-source CMS built on Astro. This site runs on it. In July I translated its interface into Swedish, every string it had at the time.
But the project kept growing. By the end of September EmDash had more than 3,000 strings and over 1,300 of them still showed up in English for Swedish users. So I went back and translated the rest. The second pull request fills in every missing string, renames Bylines to Skribenter and makes the punctuation consistent across the whole translation.
The translating itself went quickly. What took time was choosing words. Slug stays slug, for example, since in EmDash it mostly names things that never show up in a URL. A maintainer merged the pull request the same afternoon and it shipped with EmDash 1.1.
